Festival «Break The Chain» 22 & 23 October 2016
On 22 and 23 October 2016 "Break the Chain" Festival is organized for the second consecutive year at Technopolis, City of Athens, on the occasion of EU Anti-trafficking Day. The festival aims to inform and motivate the public on issues related to trafficking and the exploitation of humans by humans (Anti‐Trafficking Campaign).
The Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Athens is among the supporters of the Festival. Slovenian Ambassador Ms Anita Pipan, will be present at the opening of the event on Saturday, 22 November and on Sunday, 23 November at 17 hrs Slovenian Ms Polona Kovač from one of the major non-government organisations dealing with human trafficking - Society Ključ: Centre for Fight against Trafficking in Human Being will participate at the literature event on human trafficking.

The program of this year's Break The Chain Festival is rich in cultural and educational activities which relate to all aspects of the exploitation and trafficking of human beings. For two days, from 10:30’ to 23:30’, City of Athens’s Technopolis hosts Art and Information activities for people of all ages. Theatrical performances, film screenings, dance, creative and educational workshops enrich the program of the festival on both days of the event.
