A second group of 18 people arrive from Greece to Slovenia under EU relocation scheme
Today a group of 18 refugees from Syria and Iraq arrived from Greece to Slovenia as part of an EU relocation plan to deal with the migrant crisis. Among them are two families of 8 and 2 children and 5 individuals. The group was accompanied by representatives of International Organization for Migration and received by the representatives of Slovenian authorities.
Thus far Slovenia received 43 people, 15 Eritrean nationals form Italy and from Greece 18 citizens of Syria and 10 Iraqi citizens. The next group of 14 people from Greece is expected to arrive to Slovenia next week.
